Vicky Enright has worked as a graphic designer, a calligrapher, a wallpaper designer, a greeting card artist and a children’s book illustrator. All of these areas of commercial art have contributed to the qualities Vicky brings to her children’s book illustration: 1. Attractive layout design 2. Hand lettering 3. Pattern designs and attention to details on children’s clothing, furniture, etc. In the last ten years, while having and raising two young boys, she has completed the last nine of eleven children’s books that are partly shown on this site. They have all been published by the Millbrook Press, now Lerner Publishing. As her boys are starting to grow and expand in their pursuits, Vicky has recently added Ladybug as a client, along with Crane & Co., Courage Cards, and looks forward to adding her personal brand of joy to other companies needs.
